Personality: Jack is unusually a calm person. Of course, that doesn't hide the fact that he is scared when something happens, his face just doesn't show it except for his eyes.
History: Jack had just become an engineer-in-training. His first work in the field would be the Serenity. He was in cryo-stasis when the ship veered off course. Because of a malfunction, his pod woke him up as soon as they crashed. He has been keeping the engine alive by himself, waiting for the others to awaken and to keep the ship heated. Every once in a while, he walks outside. But he only goes about a mile before he starts to get distorted and turns back for fear of being lost.
