Age: 28
Gender: male
Ship: Serenity
Occupation: Ex-Brown coat soldier, and Pilot.
Hair Color: blonde
Eye Color: blue
Other: A red cross tattoo on his back from shoulder to shoulder going down and stopping before his butt.
Personality:
Kyle likes to do things the way he wants. Although he still follows orders, he doesn't complete them the way his CO, wants. He tends to change the way he acts from being friendly, and kind to pissed off, or quiet. He doesn't really care about a lot of stuff, only he would rather have a woman in his bed. He doesn't get mad easy, making him one of the few who can take a few punches to his pride. He is also known for talking a lot, and trying to make new friends. Although he makes most at the local bars, and inns. He doesn't really mind mages, though he does hate it when he meets the ones who think their all that.
He doesn't really like to get into fights unless of course he is provoked to by someone, or if theres a war. When it come to battle, or fighting he won't hold back no matter what. He doesn't really like the feel of another human's flesh being ripped apart, or the sight of it.
History:
Kyle was born on one of the outer rim planets like most of the Brown coat's at the time. His family used to own a small farm that was taken away from them from some Alliance soldiers whom Kyle's dad owned money to. So with his family kicked out they had no choice but to move in with his uncle and aunt who lived in a small town not to far from where Kyle's family farm was. So Kyle lived a peaceful life after that, well sort of. Most of his time was spent learning to use a weapon to hunt with. Kyle's grandfather was the man teaching him how to do all that.
Kyle and his family lived with his uncle and aunt from when Kyle was 5 to when they gathered enough money to start a new farm; Kyle was 12 at this time.
After his family had settled in and started to get things underway Kyle found life on the farm wasn't as fun as he had thought it to be. He ended up having to do a lot of farm hand work, meaning cleaning up after animals well the ones they had anyways, and lifting a lot of heavy things. He hated living on the farm, and he really wished he had stayed with his aunt and uncle. Often times he'd think about leaving and heading out to live with them. Although those thoughts quickly faded with the thought of them losing the farm to more Alliance goons. Kyle had grew to hate them for taking away almost everything his family had owned at one time, and he had sometimes often needed when working on the new farm. He started to resent the Alliance every day that passed him by. Most so than his parents or anyone in his family thought or knew for that matter. When Kyle turned 14 he started to think up ways to get back at the men who had taken his family farm, and had taken away things that could have made his life that much easier. Sadly though he could think of nothing. Mainly because first of all they were trained soldiers, and knew how to fight. They also knew how to kill, something Kyle did not, and nor did he. Yet he was thinking about wanting to kill the bastards that took his family farm.
After a year of more hard work, and more shooting practice Kyle had grown to become a man most woman in town wanted to date, or have the chance to hang around. Of course Kyle treated them as nothing but friends and that was it. He was afraid of him not giving them the attention they wanted or would need to stay with him or make things last. So Kyle just made a lot of friends who were girls. He only had two male friends in the whole group of friends. Kyle had known both of them since all three were 5. They had hung out, and played together. They were both the only two Kyle trusted with anything. They often also helped him out at the farm. Mainly to look more attractive to the woman of the town, Kyle didn't care he was just glad to have the help of his two best friends. When it came to partying they knew how to have fun. They held most of their "get togethers" at the barn, or fields. Kyle enjoyed the years with his friends.
Then on Kyle's 16th birthday the war between the 'brown coats', and the alliance started. Kyle took this as his chance to get back at the men who had taken his family farm. So he went to join the independance. Of course his family didn't know about this at the time. Well the only one who did was his grandfather who signed everything for him. After he was off, but he wasn't alone. His two best friends and two of the girls he had grown close to had also joined up. So they all went through the military training together. While Kyle's two best friends went to join the infantry, Kyle and the two girls went off to become pilots. It only took them 3 months to finish basic training, and another few months to finish learning everything else such as leadership, and how to fly. When it was all done Kyle got the average score like many of the other's. While the two girls had made the top of the class. When it was all said and done, Kyle was given his first posting, and assigned to support a crew of a small dropship. It wasn't until half way through his 17 year old time that he started to pilot one one. Though just as a Co-pilot until his 18th birthday.
During his service Kyle fought in 14 battles. Most of which had him dropping troops down on the ground to do the fighting. Then there were times when he was pitched into the ground combat due to the lack of troops or when the dropship was in repair. There was one battle however which took place on a small planet, during the last year of the war. In this battle Kyle was reassigned to the ground forces, and put in charge of the squad his two best friends were in. Kyle thought he'd be able to win this battle and make this one of the first come backs. Sadly though it didn't turn out the way he had wanted it at all. The battle like almost all in the final days of the war turned out to be a huge loss.
Kyle's squad during the battle was tasked with taking a small outpost that was said to overlook the ruined city they were fighting over. It held a great deal of strategic value to Kyle's CO's. So Kyle did want he was ordered to do and led his team up a few hills, and through some ruins up to the outpost. Every step however they had to fight for. They kept running into a good number of Alliance troops, and almost every time they had managed to send them running or wipe them out completly. At first it was looking good with only 2 wounded men, and no deaths while the Alliance forces took some heavy damage. Kyle knew it that him and his team had to take a rest. While they were taking their breather, the rest of the company came up. The Captain was rather pissed to see Kyle and his team resting when they should have been up to the outpost. So the Captain bitched him out, and order them to push on. This time however Kyle had the backing of a whole company. Sadly they were lead by someone who didn't know how to lead. When they came to the outpost they were met with heavy fire.
Kyle and his team moved up to the door. Once they had made their way inside Kyle and his team began to clear the entrance. It wasn't long before two whole paltoons came rushing in to join them. Kyle and his team were sent to take the flag down. So without question Kyle went off to follow his order. They fought their way up to the top. They lost 3 men on the way up. One was wounded while the other two lay dead. All that was left was Kyle, his two friends, two other guys, and one woman. They all rushed up taking the flag down faster than they had come up. After securing the flag what they thought was going to be a instant win for their side, turned out the opposite. Before they had made their way up to the top floor one of the Alliance officers called an airstrike to hit them. So while Kyle and the remains of his team celebrated their win they couldn't hear the incoming strike fighter coming down on them. When Kyle finally took notice of it, he quickly dove for cover, whilst yelling to the others to find cover. Then came down the strike.
Kyle woke up a few minutes later to find himself being woken up by a few of the men who had stormed the outpost along with his team. When he came to he was met with his two best friends laying dead. The older of the two was missing the lower half of his body, and and the younger lay with a piece of shrapnel dug into his head. Kyle looked around to see that he was the last of his team. He was so overcomed with sadness he couldn't move. So he had to be charried off. Later after they had retreated Kyle found out it was his helmet that had saved his life. Kyle was happy and yet sad at the same time. He was only 21 when he saw the deaths of his two best friends. So after a bit of healing up he was ready to be sent back into the front lines, sadly though the war was over. They had lost. Kyle broke down in tears crying that day, knowing his friends died for nothing.
As the years passed after the war Kyle began work as a civilian pilot with the help of his two other friends who had lived to see the end of the war like he did. So as he started to go throughout his new life as a civilian pilot he started to miss the days when he was flying away from Alliance Anti-Air fire, or fighting off Alliance fighter crafts with his dropship. Kyle missed those days and knew he couldn't live as a civilian. That time had passed now he was an ex-soldier looking for more excitment. Though he couldn't find it anywhere. So after a few more years he was 27 and had been a merc for over 3 years. Most of the time he got by through small, yet high paying jobs from some rich peaple who needed a pilot they could trust and who knew how to get away from deadly situations.
One day however he was asked to under go a job for a ship named Serenity. Kyle having a small income couldn't refuse so he signed up, and off he went to join up with the crew as their new pilot. Thing was though he wasn't expecting what was to come. Now he's with the rest of the crew wondering what to do next.
