The Sierra is an imposing sight, it towers over both the tiny Serenity and the heavily armed Vanguard. It is large enough to act as a small city once landed, it caries the majority of the colonists along with the heavy equipment to build the colony and the materials to do so.

The USMC Vanguard is the most heavily armed of the ships. It was recently redesigned to suit its new duty as a transport. Most of its weapons were removed along with its flight deck. These spaces have been replaced with cargo holds, cryo chambers, a medical deck and a hydroponics lab to support the colony as it starts to grow.
